Magic Barn Owl

This is so gorgeous, oh my goodness!! I love the vibrant colors and how the sharp details on the owl really contrast with the background. I don't know if you've already answered this in a FAQ page, but how do you go about painting with watercolor? I have such a hard time painting what I want to with watercolor and well....Making it look nice, haha.
